Onboard the ‘Prince Regent’ for an evening of seafood, Albariño and Tim Atkin MW whilst meandering through London’s hidden waterways.

Overview:

The Prince Regent, owned by londonshellco.com is renowned for its exquisite fish menu and delightful meanderings through London’s hidden waterways. We have taken it over for the evening of August 1st and we will set sail with a cargo-hold full of delicious Rías Baixas Albariño, your good selves and Tim Atkin who, fresh from his trip to the heartland of Albariño, will regale us with stories from the land of the Atlantic whites!

  • This is traditionally Albariño Day and coincides with the renowned ‘Fiesta del Albariño’ in Cambados the Capital of Rías Baixas which has been celebrating all things Albariño since 1953. In the UK we mark the occasion with a series of promotions up and down the country. Please visit ALBARINO DAY for details of where to enjoy a chilled glass of Rías Baixas Albariño.

  • The barge will be open from 6pm. Please arrive between 6 and 6.30 pm. We don’t want you to ‘miss the boat’! We will return to base around 9.30 pm.

  • The barge is called The Prince Regent and the address is Sheldon Square Paddington Central W2 6DL.

    PUBLIC TRANSPORT: please leave Paddington Station by the Hammersmith and City exit which is “Exit 3: Union Canal” turn left and walk along the tow path in the direction of Little Venice. The Prince Regent is a midnight blue wide-beam barge 100 meters up on your right hand side, moored opposite Zizzi’s restaurant and behind the bigger sister restaurant The Grand Duchess.

    BY CAB: direct it to 1 Sheldon Square W2 6PY where there is space for drop offs. From there take the short stone steps down and walk past Starbucks to find The Prince Regent on your right; beside The Grand Duchess.
